Music mechanism is inside compartment in the briefcase (NOT in any of the wedding books). The wedding card mentions the wedding between Ines Ferrari and Matthew Minando on May 14, 1949 in the All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn, N.Y. All other information relates to same. The briefcase contains a large wedding book' Our Wedding" in plastic or cellophane cover which can only contain photographs, that is completely empty. Then there is a smaller book, also entitled 'our Wedding", copyright 1942 by C.R.Gibson and Comp, Norwalk, Conn with information about the marriage, gifts,etc., including a written report on the honeymoon The second booklet is titled 'autographs', with lock, no key but opens, apparently started June 1944 by Ines Ferrari, for friends and family to leave a message on a page The third book is an 'Autograph Album Mark Hopkins JHS', with zipper, also from Ines ferrari and gives all kind of school information. But her name is given here as 'Enes', not Ines. Mark Hopkins JHS is name of school. Enes was president of Class Officers and graduated on 6/27/47. Also some corsages (school/marriage) and even marriage candy. |
