The foot mentions ' LaureL Japan '. However on opening the bottom it contained a Toyo Japan music mechanism, of which the spring was gone. Replaced the Toyo with a Sankyo Japan mechanism, HOWEVER, the origal cylinder and comb from the Toyo were installed in the Sankyo, thus the tune is still original. Both Toyop and Sankyo had/have plastic governor. |
