Photo Album Cream Color with Japanese Scene

This album was bought on eBay, with a remark by the seller that it was bought at an estate sale and the music mechanism was working well. On receiving it the tune did not seem right and on opening the compartment it was found that from the 19 teeth on the comb 6 were missing and 2, still there, were not engaged by the cylinder, so that effectively only 11 teeth are producing the, partial, melody. The missing teeth were not in the compartment, so assume it must have been opened at some earlier time. Normally the comb could be aligned for all teeth to be engaged by the cylinder, but because of the fragile state of the comb decided to leave the music mechanism as received (see photo 5).
The album itself has some tears in the wood/lacquer, mainly where screws have been used. Also some surface scratches.
