This item was packed in a plastic tub, with other items, and the tub fell from 3 high on a concrete floor. All survived apart from this one, which was heavily damaged and did not work anymore. Had to take it apart (see photo's) and now works well again, though frame still heavily damaged. By turning the handle (will work only by turning clockwise) the piano keys move and a kind of hammer hits the hung iron sound board (individual hung small diameter staves in different lenghts). The (movable) pegs on the cylinder wheel determine what stave is hit when and what tune is produced. It is also possible to play the piano by the keys only. The small receptable on top says: ' Peg Storage, to open push fab back and lift '. There was may be a screen before the cylinder wheel, but if so, not available.
